About this product

GridVis is Janitza's power quality and energy management software platform, designed to work with all Janitza UMG measurement devices for centralised data collection, analysis and reporting. It serves as the front-end for power quality compliance reporting to EN 50160, energy management programme implementation and continuous monitoring of electrical networks in industrial and commercial facilities. GridVis connects to Janitza devices via Ethernet or RS485 Modbus and presents measured data in configurable dashboards, alarm lists, trend charts and compliance reports that can be shared with facility management, energy auditors and grid operators. Three editions serve different deployment contexts: GridVis Basic is supplied free with every Janitza measurement device and provides essential local analysis and configuration capability. GridVis Desktop is a licensed single-workstation application for facility energy managers requiring advanced analysis and custom reporting. GridVis Service is a server installation for enterprise deployments where multiple users require concurrent access, automated report generation and integration with ERP or SCADA systems. Typical use cases include EN 50160 compliance verification reports for grid connection agreements, energy consumption analysis for ISO 50001 energy management systems, transformer and switchgear load monitoring, power quality problem diagnosis using waveform capture and harmonic spectra, and residual current trend analysis for insulation degradation monitoring. GridVis is supplied as a standard recommendation alongside any Janitza UMG hardware deployment to maximise the value of the measured data.
