The LPVT AIS is a support-type low power voltage transformer designed for installation on exposed busbars in air-insulated switchgear (AIS) substations. Available for 36 kV, 24 kV, and 12 kV systems, it delivers a calibrated low-energy output signal to voltage amplifiers, IEDs, power quality analyzers, and energy meters — eliminating the burden and safety limitations of conventional VTs. Compliant with IEC 61869-1 (general requirements for instrument transformers) and IEC 61869-11 (low power passive voltage transformers). IEC 61869-6, though now superseded, established the measurement principles this product family builds upon.
