Temperature & Humidity Controllers

When condensation, partial-discharge risk and surface-flashover risk must be controlled inside switchgear panels or electrical enclosures, the THC-100D, THC-102 and THC-202 controllers are what we specify. They monitor temperature and relative humidity and activate enclosure-heater control when the temperature falls or humidity rises.
About this product
The THC-100D, THC-102 and THC-202 models are used to control condensation and reduce partial-discharge and surface-flashover risk inside switchgear panels, electrical enclosures and substation equipment. Their operating principle is based on monitoring temperature and relative humidity within the enclosure. When the temperature falls below the configured level or relative humidity rises, the controller activates the heater-control output. Heating the enclosure increases the internal temperature and reduces relative humidity, helping prevent condensation and moisture accumulation on insulation surfaces. Maintaining more stable temperature and humidity conditions helps reduce moisture-related leakage currents and lowers the risk of insulation degradation, partial discharge and surface flashover. These controllers provide environmental control through heater operation; they do not perform partial-discharge measurement or monitoring. The THC-100D uses an external temperature and humidity sensor. The controller is installed on the LV-panel or control-compartment side, while the sensor is positioned in the environment whose temperature and humidity are to be measured. This arrangement allows the measurement point to be separated from the controller location. THC-100D Type A and THC-100D Type B both have two relay outputs. In Type A, the two relays operate together according to the temperature and relative-humidity control logic. In Type B, the relays operate independently for temperature and humidity control. The THC-102 uses integrated temperature and humidity sensing and measures the environment in which the device is installed. It provides LED indication, one relay output and sensor-fault detection. The THC-202 also measures the environment in which it is installed. It has one integrated temperature and humidity sensor and an LCD for local indication of temperature and humidity values. The three models are presented on one page to simplify selection according to sensor arrangement, installation location, indication method and relay-control requirements.
