The OVI+R extends the baseline OVI+ capacitive voltage indicator with a single relay output for use in applications where voltage presence must trigger an auxiliary function. The relay output activates when all three phases are confirmed energised and opens when any phase voltage is absent, providing a fail-safe contact that can be used for panel door interlocking, safety alarm activation or as a digital input to a protection relay or PLC. A power LED confirms that the auxiliary supply is active, which is particularly useful during panel commissioning and maintenance operations. The device connects to LRM capacitive voltage dividers and displays three-phase voltage status on an integrated LCD display. The auxiliary power supply accepts a wide input range and powers both the relay circuit and the display, while the indication function remains operational independent of auxiliary power through the capacitive divider energy harvesting circuit. An optional variable capacitor accessory allows fine adjustment of the divider compensation for different switchgear types. Typical applications include MV switchgear panels where personnel safety interlocking requires a voltage-dependent contact, industrial panels where voltage presence must be signalled to a control system, and secondary substation installations where an alarm output is needed alongside local indication. For applications requiring two independent relay outputs or the addition of a display test button, the OVI+SR provides a more capable configuration within the same Orion EE product family.
