The OVI+S provides three-phase capacitive voltage indication with a large LCD display and integrated display test button, designed for applications where the routine verification of indicator function is a maintenance procedure and no relay output is required. The test button allows the service technician to confirm that all display segments are operational without requiring the switchgear to be de-energised, which is particularly important in DSO secondary substations where panels are attended infrequently and indicator functionality must be verified during periodic inspection visits. The device is self-powered from the LRM capacitive voltage divider circuit with no auxiliary power supply requirement, and connects to the standard Orion EE LRM ecosystem. The large LCD screen provides clear three-phase voltage status readable from a distance, meeting IEC 62271-213 indication requirements without the wiring complexity of relay output models. The display test function is a front-panel accessible button that activates a self-test sequence on all LCD segments.
