The OVI+SR is Orion EE's most capable standard voltage indicator, providing three-phase LCD indication with a display test button, two independent relay outputs and IP54 enclosure protection in a single panel-mount device. The two relay outputs operate independently on different voltage thresholds, enabling simultaneous use for door interlocking on one output and SCADA alarm signalling on the other — without requiring separate devices for each function. The IP54 rating makes it suitable for outdoor or dust-exposed installations where standard devices would be inadequate. The device supports the Orion EE LRM capacitive voltage divider system and includes overvoltage indication capability, alerting panel operators to sustained overvoltage conditions that could affect switchgear insulation. A variable capacitor accessory is available for divider compensation adjustment. The indication function operates independently of auxiliary power through energy harvesting from the capacitive signal, while the relay and display test circuits are powered from the auxiliary supply. Typical applications include outdoor MV switchgear kiosks and pad-mounted ring main units where IP54 protection is required, panels where both door interlocking and SCADA alarm outputs are needed from a single device, and industrial MV installations where environmental conditions require enhanced enclosure protection.
