PowerLogic P7
PowerLogic P7 Protection and Control Platform

When a high-flexibility, modular platform is needed for demanding protection and control applications, such as primary substations or critical infrastructure, PowerLogic P7 is what we specify. Application packages cover feeder, motor, generator, transformer, line differential, busbar differential, stand-alone merging unit, and bay control, all built on the same scalable hardware with up to 104 digital inputs, IEC 61850 Edition 2.1, and advanced cybersecurity features.
About this product
PowerLogic P7 is a modular platform for protection and control applications requiring high flexibility, extensive I/O, and advanced digital integration. Its modular boards and application-oriented firmware allow the device to scale with the requirements of the installation.
Current application packages
The current selection guide includes feeder, motor, generator, transformer, stand-alone merging unit, line differential, busbar differential, and bay control applications. Options shown only as future application scope in the official range graphic must not be added as product variants until they are confirmed in the current selection and ordering documentation.
Modular hardware
Depending on configuration, PowerLogic P7 can use up to three analogue measurement modules, up to 104 digital inputs, up to 50 outputs, and up to 6 high-speed outputs. Flush, rack, and wall-mounting options with detachable HMI support are available.
Communication and digital integration
IEC 61850 Edition 2.1, IEC 61850-9-2 LE, and IEC 61869-9 can be combined with serial protocols, Ethernet, and RSTP, PRP, HSR, or failover options. PowerLogic Engineering Suite combines device and system configuration, engineering, and maintenance workflows in one tool family.
Cybersecurity and maintenance
Role-based access, secured communication, firmware signing, secure boot, and centralized security administration form part of the cybersecurity approach. Modular boards and removable wiring interfaces help reduce maintenance time.
