About this product
The THC-202 is Orion EE's LCD-display anti-condensation controller for MV and LV switchgear enclosures, designed for applications where real-time temperature and humidity values must be readable directly from the panel front without opening the enclosure. The large LCD display shows current measured values and controller status, enabling maintenance personnel to assess enclosure climate conditions during routine inspection visits without specialist tools or software. Two digital inputs allow flexible threshold configuration for independent control zones or optional external sensor inputs, supporting more complex heating strategies than single-sensor controllers. The device provides one relay output for heater control and accepts inputs from a combined temperature-humidity sensor. The measurement and display functions allow trending of conditions over inspection cycles, which is useful for identifying enclosures in locations with particularly challenging climate conditions that may require additional insulation or ventilation measures. The controller can be set for purely temperature-based, purely humidity-based, or combined threshold control strategies depending on the specific installation requirements. For installations requiring multi-zone heating control across compartments within a single enclosure, the THC-303 provides expanded sensor and relay output capacity.
