About this product
The THC-303 is Orion EE's multi-zone anti-condensation heating controller for large or compartmentalised MV switchgear enclosures requiring independent climate monitoring and control across multiple sections. Large primary switchgear assemblies, multi-bay distribution boards and transformer enclosures often contain physically separate compartments with different thermal and humidity characteristics — the THC-303 addresses this by supporting multiple sensor inputs with individually configurable thresholds and multiple independent relay outputs for zone-by-zone heater control. The LCD display shows temperature and humidity readings from all connected sensors simultaneously, providing a consolidated view of enclosure climate across all zones from a single front-panel location. Independent threshold settings per zone allow optimised control strategies where different compartments have different heating requirements — for example, a cable compartment may require different setpoints from a busbar chamber or an instrument transformer compartment. Typical applications include large primary MV switchgear assemblies with multiple separate compartments, transformer cooling and control cubicles, multi-bay switchrooms where a centralised heating controller is preferred over individual controllers per bay, and industrial process facilities where switchgear enclosures are in temperature-variable environments with critical uptime requirements.
