When an automatic PFC panel requires intelligent multi-stage control with 6 or 12 stages — the BR6000 is what we specify. It offers relay outputs for conventional switching or thyristor outputs (BR6000-T) for dynamic fast switching under 20ms. The mixed BR6000-T6R6 variant combines both in a single controller, covering standard and dynamic loads in one panel.

When a small automatic PFC panel needs a simple 4-stage controller at low cost — the BR604 is what we specify. It handles basic reactive power compensation tasks with 4 relay outputs, covers standard single-phase measurement and fits the same 138x138mm panel cutout as the larger BR6000 and BR7000 controllers.

When an automatic PFC system requires true 3-phase measurement, up to 15 switching stages and a wider supply voltage range up to 440V — the BR7000 is what we specify. It is suitable for MV metering applications with external voltage transformers and supports single-phase balancing control, making it the most capable controller in the EPCOS range.
